If the materials/specimens are the result of research supported by a federal grant, how can the Whittemores claim this is their property? Unless there was some binding agreement filed at the time of funding, similar to academic funding. But of course we are not hearing about that. Seems like more of an effort to create a bad name for Judy.
An email some of us received from SNR Denton, Audrey Young, attorney, states the following:
Please find the statement below from Whittemore Peterson Institute President Annette Whittemore clarifying recent incorrect news coverage related to WPI's lawsuit against Dr. Judy Mikovits.
"The damage to the Whittemore Peterson Institute is substantial and recent news coverage indicating that WPI may dismiss its civil case against Dr. Judy Mikovits is incorrect."
I sure hope Dr. Mikovits gets a fair and impartial investigation. I'm not feeling very optimistic about that considering the immense political influence of the Whittemores.
Do the Whittmores not understand that proceeding against Judy Mikovits will cost them something far more than money? Dr Mickovits is far more respected than the Institute is. They may be taking themselves down.
I've told Santa that I have been a good girl, maybe he will bring me some pills just like the ones Annette has the good fortune to be taking. I hoped this year would bring us a cure for Christmas. What heck of a place fires its lead reasearcher over the phone? How many is this now that have dissassociated from the WPI.
